Cats owner, beware of windows

English (sorry for the Google Translator, but .... no time tonight!)

When I first saw the photo, I thought how ghastly. Then I wondered if this sort of photo was appropriate for a leisure site. I have always looked to La Gatta as a way to escape the infuriating politics of the current USA administration. This week has been a difficult one and I have greatly appreciated this site.
I think it is a good thing to show such a picture. because feline deaths and suffering may be prevented.

This so sad. Thank you for letting people know this can happen.

How distasteful of you to use the death of this poor cat in such a manner on a site that is supposed to be used for cross stitch references and recreational purposes!
And I have to wonder about the authenticity of this picture also. Either someone did this on purpose or
the picture is faked, possibly if it is a true photo shame on you who took the picture! Shame on you who let the window stay open! In all my years as a cat owner, and I have been around plenty of these windows as well, I have never come across an instance where it was even remotely possible for a full grown cat to die this way, not without some assistance from humans! In the future, before you post pictures like these, remember some of the surfers on your page are younger people, it is therefore wise to post a warning before you add a photo of animals dying!

That's not my cat. I suppose you can't understand my language so let's have another try at Lili's blog!

I can't believe what Polga23 said there!
I can testify what happened to my cat and there are many testimonies -in French. Here are the links

Considering that Marcella is only trying to help save cats, I am very sad to read this stupid comment. And angry and sad that people can doubt this.
If you look closely at the window, you can see the uniform of the fireman taking the pic reflected in the window. The only purpose there was to inform so these things stop happening.
I'm sorry, Marcella, that you had to read such a stupid, nasty and ignorant comment. Polga23 doesn't want to know. Great. I hope it never happens to her cats.
Besides, if this blog is dedicated to leisure, it is also a citizen's blog. Marcella is active on her blog, see the Darfour reference on the left. Marcella is a great citizen of this world, and active for the others. She's admirable.
Thanks again for your action, Lady.
Hugs,
Lili
